The Mountain Palaver – Jeff Stowell – is an entrepreneur, defunct attorney, whispering social critic, music lover, husband and generically unlucky sports fan. He hails from the plains of Kansas, but somehow managed to drag all of his stuff up the 4,440 feet between Lawrence, KS and Denver, CO where he resides with his wife, son, dog and shattered dreams of greatness.
